Field Journal

Documenting the work as it unfolds.

The Field Journal is Terra Éire's public record of practical land stewardship—capturing progress, lessons and seasonal change as our pilot projects develop.

Field Journal 001 · July 2026

The journey begins.

Terra Éire's first biodiversity pilot project is now underway.

Every restoration project begins with a decision: to care for the land in a way that leaves it healthier, richer and more resilient for the future.

We are pleased to share that Terra Éire's first biodiversity pilot is now in development. This marks the beginning of our practical work on the ground and the first step in building a wider network of demonstration sites.

Over the coming months, this journal will follow the project from early planning through implementation, establishment and long-term stewardship. We will record seasonal progress, practical challenges, decisions made and lessons learned along the way.

For now, we are keeping the site and its detailed plans private while the foundations are put in place. Future entries will reveal the story gradually, at the right time and with the landowner's privacy respected.

This is the first chapter in Terra Éire's journey. More will follow soon.

Coming Next

Follow the first season.

Future entries will document site preparation, habitat establishment, monitoring and the practical realities of restoration as the work progresses.

Field Journal 002 will be published following the next confirmed project milestone.
